I want to thank all of you that have suggested an interest in attending the Art and Wine Festival this June in support of my son Cameron.
Here is the information. He will be playing on the acoustic stage from 3:30 to 4:15 on Saturday June 24th and Sunday June 25th.
Thank you for all your positive energy and support of him!
I have included the bio and pic that the Festival is using to advertise.
Cameron Harris is a Lake Arrowhead Resident. He is 14 years old, and has been taking acoustic guitar lessons from Blaine Van Derschuit for approximately 15 mos.
My Mother organized a Professional performance group, Lula Washington from Los Angeles to come up to the mountain area and perform at the elementary school assemblies. Arrowhead Arts paid for this event which was so wonderful. Many of these children wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity for this exposure. With out knowing this exists, how do we know what we might want to be? So, I had the opportunity to pass along the thank you notes these little 2nd graders wrote to Lula and her dancers.
I wanted to remind you all of the Lake Arrowhead Film Festival this April 15th, 16th and 17th, 2011.
My advanced Jazz students at the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance will be performing a tribute to the director of Grease. We have had a lot of fun putting it together.

I have never "blogged" before. In my reality, who would want to publish an online journal? Apparently a lot of people, including me.
So, today as I write for those who may be reading.... My blog is about the simple things. Rain, chubby baby hands and feet- you know, the little pudge on their knuckles? A beautiful sunrise, sunset, or, on a quiet early morning when the breeze blows through the trees and you can hear the music in it? I love it. And this leads to my point.
The little yellow ball.
